About Me
I am a 44 year
old divorced father of one boy, Nico who is 8.
For many years I have toyed with diets and exercise programs, but never
stuck with it. There was always some
reason why I would quit, and soon after I would fall back on bad habits, then
decide I want to get fit. The process
would repeat over and over.
So many people
end up in the hospital for reasons they can’t control, but still there are some
that end up there when it could have been avoided. I have a family member who falls in the
latter category, and I don’t want that to happen to me. Seeing the suffering that they go through is
a great incentive.
A friend of mine
let me sample some Shakeology, and I felt great after taking it, then awful
later when I ran out. I noticed my
energy level was higher, and I lost a few pounds, so I decided I wanted more. He recommended getting on the monthly
delivery of Shakeology, and then told me about being a coach and getting the
great discount. I signed up.
I decided I would
try to go from being a discount coach to a professional coach. I wanted to help my family get healthier
too! That didn’t work out so well for
me, and I became depressed and didn’t believe in the product any longer. And so, I quit. I quit being a coach, I quit taking
Shakeology, and I quit caring. It was a
very dark place.
Every year my son
and I go to Cedar Point, which is a local amusement park with a lot of roller
coasters and carnival rides. I was embarrassed
one day when I tried to get on a ride next to my son, only to not quite fit,
and then to ask for help from the attendant.
While getting secured, by sucking in my rotund belly, my son said I was
fat. That stung more than you can
imagine. I decided at that point to give
it another go.
I am now an
Emerald ranked coach. I exercise daily
with Body Beast, a weight lifting exercise program. I drink my shakeology, and I feel great. I am still learning to eat right, eat clean,
and eat smart. I’m still overweight, but
I’m on the path to health and fitness, and I’m enjoying the journey.
